Welcome to SJvoice, the home of musician and composer Sarah Jaysmith.

Sarah is a singer, pianist, songwriter, composer and arranger. With her husband Gil, she writes and performs songs as Chilli & Sage. Find out more at the Chilli & Sage MySpace page. Gil and Sarah have also written an original musical, One Plus One, which will hopefully be workshopped this year.

Sarah has sung in and composed and arranged for many vocal ensembles, and is the resident composer for My Lady's Chamber. She has recently completed a cycle of madrigals with texts by Gil Jaysmith. A list of her compositions and arrangements can be found here, but she is also happy to do custom arrangements for your group. She is a member of SOCAN.

Sarah is an experienced and sympathetic accompanist for all styles of music - please contact her for more information or to discuss your requirements. She has been Musical Director for numerous shows in the UK, including the English premiere of A New Brain. She is the MD for The Broadway Chorus, and has done several shows with Fighting Chance Productions. She was nominated for the Ovation Best Musical Director Award for Rent in 2009, and won the CTC Best Musical Director Award for Forbidden Broadway in 2010.
